Alright. Due to populair demand, I decided to make an invisible watermarking tutorial!
In this tutorial, we'll be chatting about watermarks that only show up when you highlight the picture or, when you type Ctrl+A. Whoohoo! Onward!

Note: this only works in IE browsers. So remember...

Take a drawing

Like this one:

Now, before you stop moaning, this drawing is perfect for what I'm about to do. So open your photoshop and grab one yourself.
Note:Please make sure that your layer isn't locked. So if it is, duplicate the layer and delete the locked one :P

Create a new document of 2 by 2 pixels and zoom in at 1600 pixels.
Just listen to me, this is important.

<img:stuff/tut39.jpg>

Add a black spot in the left top corner and the right bottom corner and fill the rest with white.
Now: go to Edit: define patern and give it a funky name!
Close the document and we'll go to step 3!

<img:stuff/tut40.jpg>

Create a new layer and name it if you wish.
Fill the layer with the patern you just created and set the layer mode to Exclusion or Alt+Shift+X if you have a non english version of Photoshop. (Very important).

Create another layer between the paterned layer and the image.

<img:stuff/tut42.jpg>

Add the text you want as your watermark and a logo if you wish. Remember: white text on a dark background and black text on a light background.
Please convert the layer to pixels if you only add text as your watermark. Better safe than sorry aye?
It should look like this if you ignore the patern layer:

<img300*0:stuff/tut41.jpg>

Drag the layer with the image above all others.

<img:stuff/tut43.jpg>

Please set the opacity of the image layer between 90 - 95%.
And all you now have to do is to go to the patern layer and invert it with Ctrl+I to hide it.
Put all layers together and save the image with the highest quality and viola!

<img300*0:stuff/finished[1].jpg>

Hehe, now you try to find my hidden watermark.
